The airport is directly linked to the A4 Trieste-Venice motorway. To get to Duino from the airport: go in the direction of Monfalcone for 2km until the exit for the Ronchi-Redipuglia toll booth. Take the A4 in the direction of Trieste for 13 km until the Trieste-Lisert toll booth. Follow the E70 section of motorway for another 4 km until you reach the Duino exit.

Just 20 minutes from Trieste, Duino is directly accessible from the E70 section of motorway at the end of the A4 Venezia-Trieste motorway. From Austria: follow the A23 until Palmanova and take the A4 in the direction of Trieste. At the Trieste-Lisert exit take the E70 section of motorway for another 4 km until the Duino exit. From Slovenia: from the pass of Sezana for whoever is coming from the A1, follow the E70 section of motorway and exit at Duino, which is only 20 minutes from the border.
